Where do my donations go?
Your donations are vital. NATAN depends solely on contributions.
Our operations are funded on an ad-hoc basis, based on emergent situations and changing needs.
Overhead is met by NATAN membership dues and Board donations.

What does my donation accomplish?
NATAN’s all-volunteer structure means that funds are used only for logistics and supplies, making the organization exceptionally cost-effective. Every mission is different, but costs range from $40,000 to $150,000. Funding is provided by the volunteers, by individual donors in Israel and the U.S. for specific projects and by ad-hoc limited institutional grants.
$100 is the cost of 1 fully stocked Emergency Medical Bag.
$200 is the cost per day for car rental to reach survivors in isolated areas.
$500 is the cost of 2 days of training for 20 local staff and leaders.
$1,000 is the cost of drugs and medical disposables for 4 days of operation.
$2,500 is the cost of 1 volunteer MD (or Mental Health Worker) flying across the world for 10 days of work in a disaster zone.
How else can I support NATAN?
NATAN recruits certified professionals for our relief operations around the globe. We are also always searching for dedicated volunteers with skills such as administration, writing, translating, design, photography, video editing, technical or technological skills. Click here to volunteer.
